Monday, September 24, 2018

Join Seton Hall Law School for an evening of learning and dialogue exploring issues and stereotypes that affect women in the legal profession. This thought-provoking and informative Continuing Legal Education (CLE) will feature Laura Bazelon, law professor at the University of San Francisco School of Law, and author of Rectify: The Power of Restorative Justice After Wrongful Conviction, along with Lisa Pensabene, Partner at O’Melveny & Myers; Hon. Katharine Hayden, U.S. District Court Judge, Hon. Esther Salas, U.S. District Court Judge, and Craig Carpenito, U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey. Professor Bazelon and this distinguished panel will share not only their experiences but identify ways to overcome the hurdles associated with gender bias. Professor Bazelon will also sign copies of her new book, Rectify: The Power of Restorative Justice After Wrongful Conviction, following the CLE. A networking reception will follow, as well.
