The District of New Jersey welcomes Magistrate Judge Cheryl L. Pollak, who will be assisting this Court with Social Security Appeals. Magistrate Judge Pollak, a retired Judge from the Eastern District of New York, will be handling the Social Security Appeals of those plaintiffs who previously consented to magistrate jurisdiction, as well as those who do so in the future. The United States Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey and the Social Security Administration have indicated their continued consent to Magistrate jurisdiction. Judge Pollak replaces recalled Magistrate Judge Norah McCann King, who provided valuable service to this Court and whose term ended on April 18, 2026.
