The United States District Court is the Federal Court. It is considered one district, the District of New Jersey with three vicinages (Camden, Newark, and Trenton). Each vicinage has jurisdication over the following Counties:

Camden : Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, Cape May, Cumberland, Atlantic

Newark : Essex, Sussex, Passaic, Bergen, Morris, Union, Middlesex, Hudson, Northern Middlesex (North of the raritan River)

Trenton : Mercer, Ocean, Southern Middlesex (South of the Raritan River), Monmouth, Somerset, Hunterdon, Warren

Your full time county residence determines where you will serve.
