Emergent Matters

The United States District Court for the District of New Jersey has instituted procedures for handling emergent matters after normal business hours. Any person having an emergent matter should proceed as follows:

  • Call phone number : 1-888-803-2474; after the beep, enter your phone number and then press #.

In the event of an ECF "Technical Failure" as described in the ECF Policies and Procedures, filings are accepted at ecfhelp@njd.uscourts.gov or by facsimile to Camden (856) 757-5370, Trenton (609) 989-2080 or Newark (973) 645-6659.
